What a lovely Monday! Felkerino and I thought we might enjoy a morning lap on Hains Point, but it was not to be.
The Potomac River is running high and Hains Point is closed due to flooding.
In addition, a small portion of Ohio Drive (near the George Mason Memorial) was covered in water.
Hopefully we’ll be back on the Point soon, but in the meantime we’ll need an alternate route to get in those extra cycling miles.
I had fun on Ohio Drive too, and some pretty impressive flooding on the MVT this morning. The river was really moving fast and contained impressive amounts of debris.
