Hello friends, it’s been a little while. I’m still here, though, and I hope to return to a more regular schedule of blogging soon. Tooday features a guest post from fellow coffeeneur, blogger, and six-time Coffeeneuring Challenge finisher, Vannevar, who has put together some intriguing facts and figures about the latest edition of the challenge. Patches for this year’s challenge have been sent. If you did not … Continue reading Coffeeneuring Challenge Recap and Guest Post!

Finally, the time to announce the Finishers and Honorable Mentions for the 2015 Coffeeneuring Challenge has arrived. Thanks to everyone for their patience as I organized the submissions. Continue reading “Coffeeneuring Challenge 2015: Finishers and Honorable Mentions”

It’s taken a while, but the time is now right to begin announcing the Coffeeneuring Challenge Results for 2013. Ta Dahhhhh!

Coffeeneuring Challenge-Honorable Mention

First up are the “I Was Going to Complete the Coffeeneuring Challenge, but…” Honorable Mention category. These nine 10 12 13 15 coffeeneurs were unable to complete the full seven trips, but each person you see below completed four or more outings. Pretty good, I’d say.

Coffeeneuring Challenge: Winners and Honorable Mentions!

While I still have a couple of Coffeeneuring Rewinds up my sleeve, it’s time to announce the winners.

I couldn’t be more thrilled with the growth of coffeeneuring. In its inaugural year, 12 participants successfully completed the Coffeeneuring Challenge. In only its second edition, that number has grown to 51 coffeeneurs, each of whom visited 7 different coffee shops over a period of 6 weekends.

Of the original 12 coffeeneur champions, six returned to earn their coffeeneuring award a second year. Well done! They are noted with an asterisk (*) in the list below.

I was Going to Complete the Coffeeneuring Challenge, but… Honorable Mention Category!

This post is for those who entered the Coffeeneuring Challenge with great ambitions, but for some reason or another, fell short in their quests to complete the Coffeeneuring Challenge. Don’t fret. You may still submit the coffeeneuring rides you accomplished and perhaps be eligible for the “I was Going to Complete the Coffeeneuring Challenge, but… Honorable Mention” category. Simply email me the rides you completed, … Continue reading I was Going to Complete the Coffeeneuring Challenge, but… Honorable Mention Category!

Congratulations, Coffeeneurs!

The intrepid coffeeneurs began their journey on September 24. Many started, but the weeks passed quickly and unfortunately, not everyone who started made it to the finish.

Coffeeneuring: I heart you

For some, pressing life events intervened, preventing coffeeneuring challenge completion: “I have no excuse except that I got distracted by Halloween stuff.”

Others fell ill: “I had a cold, so can I claim coughy-nuering points?”

The last weekend of October arrived and the time for official coffeeneuring was at an end. Who remained?
