‘Twas the night before Coffeeneurmas, and all through the house… As we all know, coffeeneuring is a season, not a day, and what a great season it’s been. This year, 247 people rode their bikes to the finishers circle, and 8 achieved Honorable Mention.
Finally, the time to announce the Finishers and Honorable Mentions for the 2015 Coffeeneuring Challenge has arrived. Thanks to everyone for their patience as I organized the submissions.
Results are listed in alphabetical order by first name. I have also included hyperlinks to people’s blogs, Instagrams, or Twitter accounts. The number in parentheses notes the number of times the person has completed the challenge.
You will also see the Themes Within a Theme for those who took on this additional, yet optional, creative element. I loved reading the themes people chose to overlay their coffeeneuring, and I know some are already cooking up themes for next year.

If any changes are needed (I missed a theme, blog, Instagram handle, or any other info) or if you should be included on one of these lists, please let me know by email or in the comments.

This year’s challenge boasts the most participants yet. For the first time, coffeeneuring was represented in Ukraine, India, Northern Ireland, and even new states in the U.S., including New Mexico, Wyoming, and Tennessee. (I hope to do another post that wraps up the city, state, and country information.)
I am also thrilled that seven coffeeneurs returned to keep their five-time coffeeneuring finishing streak alive. In addition, there are six people with a four-time finishing record, and another 29 who have completed the challenge three times.
A note about patches! Patches are en route to me, and I hope to mail them out next week (BikeDC locals, I’ll catch you at Friday Coffee Club). I have a few extras, if anybody would like an additional patch for whatever reason. $5 per. Email and let me know.

People coffeeneured for many reasons. A few learned ride a bike through the challenge. Some brewed their own cups in the great outdoors. Several discover new coffee and tea places. Some took short rides and others went farther than they’d ever ridden before.
Even with the suite of rules that accompanies the Coffeeneuring Challenge, we consistently find ways to make it our own.
Congratulations, and Mary Coffeeneurmas to all!
Maybe time for a Coffeeneuring cotton cycling cap next year!
..::wink::..

No, a t-shirt! Because it’s not an official cycling event if there is no t-shirt! 😉
Although the official coffeneuring mug would make sense…

Awesome, Mary! We need to step it up in the PNW! But there were 4 of us here in Eugene this year. Yay! Also, this is my 3rd time, not 2nd. I look forward to the patch! Enjoy your warm Christmas!
