Fellow coffeeneurs and friends of the blog, it’s been a frenetic time at Coffeeneuring Headquarters. The Coffeeneuring Challenge Committee is reviewing submissions as quickly as possible in between socks fulfillment and other pressing activities of the day (such as work and laundry).
Note that submissions requiring additional scrutiny are then raised to the Coffeeneuring Challenge Board of Directors for further review. This is no fly by night operation.
Coffeeneuring Submissions Update: The Coffeeneuring Challenge Committee has advised that they hope to complete review of all submissions this weekend. There are still some submissions received that have yet to be reviewed, due to thet aforementioned intervening life activities.
If you completed this year’s challenge yet somehow missed submitting, you still have time to do so and to be the lanterne rouge of this year. Please send me your Coffeeneuring Challenge evidence to still be in the mix for 2020. See the original 2020 Coffeeneuring Challenge post for more on submitting.
Grand Patch Prize Update: Patches have taken a little longer than initially scheduled for 2020. I will let you know when these arrive, but hopefully they will be in D.C. in the next couple of weeks. From there, the Coffeeneuring HQ shipping department will begin work on distributing these (along with a few stickers because stickers are also fun and we need a little bit more of that in 2020).
Still not too late to order the grand patch prize: $6 USD for U.S. finishers, $8 USD for everywhere else on earth.
Socks Update: In my last post I said this would be my final socks update, but it was not true! Because of the delay in receiving patches, I spent this last week mailing all the coffeeneuring socks that have been paid for because I’d like you to wrap your feet up in these by the holidays. As you receive the socks, feel free to let me know and post a pic to your social media outlet of choice. I love seeing people wear them.
I still have some socks that people pre-ordered and that are pending payment. Please contact me if you think you are on the pre-order list, but not sure.
If payment for pre-ordered socks is not received by December 17, I will then begin working through the socks waitlist. Please reach out to me via email, Facebook, Insta, or commenting here if you have any questions about that or if you would like to be added to the waitlist.
Always Be Coffeeneuring Club Season: It’s here again, and I look forward to sharing the off-season of coffeeneuring rides with all of you. Gotta stay in shape!
One Last Good Thing: Thank you to everyone for bringing light and levity through motion to this year. The Coffeeneuring Challenge Committee and Board of Directors have thoroughly enjoyed reading everyone’s posts and virtually touring the varied coffeeneuring landscapes with you.
The Coffeeneuring Challenge has definitely been one good thing, and the best thing for me, this year. Thank you all.
No rush. It’s all good Mate.

Thank you for all you do! I didn’t finish the challenge this year but it did get me out on my bike 5 or 6 more times than I would have gone otherwise!

Mary, I sent you a PayPal for the 2020 patch. Since I seem to have two addresses for you, I am not sure I had the correct one to send it. Let me know if you got it, and if not, please email me the correct address. Thanks, Nancy

You made a thing. It’s growing. Many people love it and value it, and appreciate all the work you have put into creating and maintaining it. As you enter the MBA program (and congratulations on that!), I hope you’ll feel comfortable delegating any parts of the management of these activities that feel like busy work or interfere with the focus you need for graduate study. You have given a lot to this community. I think the community will support you if you ask.
